The Eighth Devon Wine Week is a celebration of local food and wine culture in Devon, part of the wider English Wine Week, organised by www.englishwineproducers.com.

All week (except MONDAY and TUESDAY when the vineyard is closed) we are offering a special Wine Week menu for two, in the Deli Shack Café a Deli Shack Platter and 2 glasses of our Vintage Brut - for a set price of £20 per person. Booking advisable.

Wed May 29th Talk: "The Secrets of Sparkling Wine."

With Yearlstone fizzes fully represented in the spectacular rise of English sparkling wine in recent years a behind-the-scenes look at the techniques involved, our in-house policy on ageing, and a tasting of three vintages of Yearlstone sparklers - including the 2009 Vintage Brut recommended in Decanter magazine, which won a bronze medal at in the winery and tasting in the tasting rooms. £10 per person. Booking essential.

Sat 1st June "Music and Mezes".

Yearlstone's traditional Music N Meze evening, featuring David Cottam playing classical Spanish guitar music on the terrace, a delicious Deli Shack supper of mezes and a complimentary glass of Yearlstone Vintage Brut £30 per person. We sell out of inside seats very quickly, but if weather is fine we can offer up to 20 more seats on the outside terrace at £20pp.

One of Yearlstone's popular musical evenings on the vineyard terrace. A pre-supper tutored wine tasting of three Yearlstone sparkling wines, plus a brief visit to the winery. Then lovely classical guitar music played by David Cottam over supper (meditteranean style salads, platters, a pudding) with a glass of Yearlstone Vintage Brut. Booking essential.

Sunday 2nd June Talk: "The Secrets of Sparkling Wine."
