In addition there are set guided tours in the summer. The English Wine Experience invidually tailored tours - the perfect present. Includes lunch & complimentary bottle of wine. £pound;45 per person. Vine to Wine Tours - group tours £10 per head. Meet the owners & winemaker Self guided tours - £3.50 per head, all year round. Includes wine tasting Yearlstone is also a perfect venue for your event. Wine tastings & short tours can be included for any group up to 25. Our tasting rooms can be hired for the day. The perfect way of blending work with pleasure - to discuss individual/corporate requirements email roger@yearlstone.co.uk. The English Wine Experience at Yearlstone A perfect gift for wine lovers! Tea and coffee on arrival. The tour will begin with a guided tour around the vineyard by the vineyard manager explaining the history of English wine, the recent boom and principles of vinegrowing in the South West of England. To return to the winery - one of the best equipped in the country and a regional winemaking centre. On arrival at the winery you will meet award-winning winemaker Juliet White & there will be a full explanation of the winemaking process, illustrated by a tutored wine tasting. To finish, you will be offered lunch at Charlotte's Kitchen - a popular venue for those who appreciate delicious food with locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients, some from our own kitchen garden. At the end of the day you will receive a complimentary bottle of Yearlstone white or rose wine per person. This tour is available on specific dates from May to September. Advance booking is essential. Cost: £45 per person. We will publish dates nearer the time - or contact us to find out more. Self-guided Tours This offers a self-directed walk of the vineyard. On returning, there will be an instructed tasting of a selection of Yearlstone wines. Available all season during opening hours. Cost: £3.50 per person. The Vine to Wine Tour Designed for groups of 10-25, this is a behind-the-scenes tour including talk on English wine & Yearlstone vineyard from the owners, and a half-hour talk & demo in the winery with winemaker Juliet White (named one of England's top dozen winemakers). Full wine tasting. Cost £10 per person. Full details from roger@yearlstone.co.uk Vineyard Trails The trails through the vineyard & orchards take approximately 15 mins to walk and involve some steep inclines. All visitors wishing to walk through the vineyard will need good mobility plus suitable footwear and clothing. How to Find Us See details on our Contacts page. Yearlstone is located 15 mins from J 27 M5 on the A396 between Tiverton and Bickleigh. The vineyard is brown tourist signed and 1/4 mile off the main A396 just before Bickleigh on the Tiverton side. Sorry, as our access is restricted, we cannot accept large coaches. Large groups must book in advance.
